Update

So right at this moment I am meant to be doing some work for my University interview tomorrow,  I am going to do it in a moment (I promise) but right now I just thought I'd let everyone know whats happening!
I'm currently working on a site specific brief and my site is a local theatre because at University I am hoping to study theatre design.

Right now I'm making little costumes for peg dolls while watching The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary which is amazing and has Ramin Karimloo as the phantom which means I could get distracted quite a lot.

Well since this is a update heres whats going to be turning up soon:
My Peg Dolls
Pages from my current sketchbook
Past Life Information
Artwork
Ghosts
Anything else I find interesting

So thats all for now

Finland

So I've been going through photos from when I was little and I found this picture of me in Muonio, Finland.

I'm about 6 in this image and had just met the local Shaman on holiday in Muonio, I can't really remember much from meeting him except I was absolutely terrified by his presence.

So as well as this picture, I was wondering if anyone knew what this story is.
Its about a bird teaching a reindeer to fly by giving it, its feathers. I can't remember much just that it featured lots of different animals such as bears.
I can't remember much of the story as i was so scared by the Shaman but I would love to be able to what it was as it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

The "Pirate" Grave

Well I did have a different update in mind today but this excited me and my class so much.
As we are looking at Public Art we have been visiting different places, yesterday was London and today because there were only five of us our teacher took us to our local gallery. While there we started discussing churches (our college building began life as part of the church)  and how they're beautiful but at the same time quite sinister to us for different reasons.
After our teacher phoned the local church, Saint Mary's and asked if we would be allowed to visit.

As we walked round the church we couldn't help but discuss the darker side and wonder what the church had seen as some features are quite strange, including a staircase that starts five foot up from the floor and says a person is buried there.

We then went outside to look at the space and to look at the graves, we found it quite interesting that some were broken and appeared to be filled with bricks, as we wondered around our teacher asked us if we had seen the "Pirate" grave (we live on the coast), two people had heard of it, but me and two others had never heard of it, our teacher began leading us round in search of it, eventually we found it located right next to the road side only hidden from view by a small wall and separated from the other graves.

We all found the grave  unusual, as even though the skull and crossbones are often seen on graves this one appears sinister due to the bone protruding from the jaw and the graphic detail on the skull, the surface is completely smooth which made us wonder who the person was and if their name was ever written on the grave as there is no sign of even faded writing. Another thing that made us wonder if this grave contained someone who had done something bad, was the grave is in the completely opposite direction to all the others (I'm not to good on my church research but its something to do with the graves face the same way to greet God?)

Eventually after standing staring at the grave for 20 minutes and working from the idea that the grave contained a pirate we decided that the person had done something bad but had repented in the end which allowed him or her to be buried in the church grounds but something had happened  and due to that the church didn't want this person to be noticed or remembered which is why there is no name and why it is buried in the wrong direction and so far away from the other graves.

Close up

I'd like to know if anyone knows anything about this type of thing as I've looked up images and can't find any similar to this design, and also if anyone has anything they think it would be great to hear :D

Update

Hi, so I have been currently snowed under with work, preparing my portfolio and preparing for University interviews, but I am finally approaching the end of it!
So that means I am going to have lots more free time when I'm not doing college work or practicing piano (currently learning to play the great song from Les Miserables - Bring Him Home)

So in the next couple of days, I'll be posting more stuff that relates to several topics :D
